A brief stop at Stonehenge.

We stopped at Stonehenge in Amesbury, Wiltshire, on our way back to London from Bath. It is a famous tourist spot.  Stonehenge is surrounded by vast fields of grass, in the midst of greenery stood the structure of stones; the Stonehenge. The Stonehenge is “an ancient temple aligned with the movements of the sun.”  The stones in the area are of different shapes and sizes, raised by prehistoric people. The visitors to Stonehenge would first see the indoor exhibition centre upon their arrival. The indoor exhibition centre showcases the history of Stonehenge by visual media and other mediums. Some Excavated items, including human remains of prehistoric people who lived in the area, is on display. The outdoor gallery opposite the indoor exhibition centre has reconstructed Neolithic houses. Our walk in the greenery was made short when it started to drizzle.
